Rhymetime
Note: This event is not ticketed, please turn up at the given times below.
Join us for our weekly rhymetime session.
- Every Saturday from 11.15am to 11.45am.

Monday storybox
Crafts and stories for preschool children. Suitable for children aged 18 months to 4 years old with parent/carer.
- Mondays (term time only), from 10am until 11am. Cost: £1 per session.

Reading groups
Our reading groups are open to all – all books chosen are available in large print and spoken word where possible. You can borrow the books from the library, where it's all free. Talk to the Volunteers for more information.
Stoneleigh reading group
Join us for a coffee and a friendly chat about our selected books. Meets monthly on Fridays from 2,30pm until 3.30pm

Beyond the book - young persons book club
Stoneleigh Library has started a book club for children in year 3 and upwards.
Members of the club we will be getting into different books by doing some creative activities arts and crafts and games related to that week's title - we'll also be running some group competitions with prizes.
This club is free but pre-booking required as numbers are limited. Please book in person at the library or by email to; stlibraryops@gmail.com. Please include the child's name and age as well as your own contact details.
Other events
Computer classes
The Friends of Stoneleigh Library, in association with My Tech Man, are hosting free, informal sessions for computer novices in our community room on Thursdays mornings.
Each of these sessions lasts about two hours including time for questions at the end.
These sessions are always popular and space is limited to 10 people on a 'first come, first served' basis. To book a place, please visit us or ring on 0300 200 1001.
Chess Club
Note: Our Chess Club is taking a holiday and will be back on Saturday 28 September usual time.
- Fourth Saturday of every month, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
Suitable for children aged from 8 to 15 years.
Free event. No need to book, just come along and join in. A great opportunity to play and practice chess.

A free all ages community job club run by trained volunteer coaches. Just drop in!
