Library business services

Surrey libraries have reopened

Surrey County Council has reopened thirteen libraries as part of a programme to gradually reopen across the county from 6 July, in line with Government guidance. The first libraries to reopen were Camberley, Dorking, Egham, Epsom, Farnham, Godalming, Guildford, Horley, Oxted, Redhill, Staines, Weybridge and Woking.

We're working hard to start reopening services in other libraries and further updates will be posted on our Coronavirus information page, which also includes information about what services are available, which services are paused, and the safety measures in place.

The Business and Intellectual Property (IP) Centre starting in Guildford supports entrepreneurs, inventors and small businesses from that first spark of inspiration to successfully launching and developing your business.

Our team will help you take the right steps to start up, protect and grow your business. Develop your ideas with our business information resources, learn new skills at a workshop or have a confidential one to one. Join one of our free or low cost events at the Business Centre, programme coming shortly. If you can't visit us, you can still take advantage of the British Library's expertise by registering for regular webinars, from wherever you are in the world.

Take advantage of free full access to the library service's computer and internet facilities.

Take a look at the latest Business and IP Centre Network report, 'Democratising Entrepreneurship', to see more of the real-life impact the Business and IP Centre has had on businesses operating today.
