Bank holiday closures
2024 Bank Holiday closures
- Tuesday 24 December: libraries close at 1pm. Super Access available until 5pm.
- Wednesday 25 December (Christmas Day): all libraries closed.
- Thursday 26 December (Boxing Day): all libraries closed.
- Friday 27 December: all libraries closed. Super Access available for the advertised hours.
- Tuesday 31 December (New Year's eve): libraries close at 5pm, Super Access available for the advertised hours.
The following libraries have access to extended hours via the Super Access scheme: Camberley, Dittons, Dorking, Egham, Godalming, Horley, Oxted. You must be registered in advance to make use of this service. Find out more about Super Access.

Emergency closures
A Library Manager, or the senior member of staff on duty, has discretion to close service points within the library, or the library itself, when staffing levels are deemed to be too low, or when conditions make it difficult, to open the library, with due regard to health and safety considerations.
