Emergency closures
A Library Manager, or the senior member of staff on duty, has discretion to close service points within the library, or the library itself, when staffing levels are deemed to be too low, or when conditions make it difficult, to open the library, with due regard to health and safety considerations.
Please check your local library page for closures.
Temporary closures
- Staines Library: Staines library at Friends Walk will close from Monday, 7 July, for about two weeks to move library book stock and other items to their new home at Library Hub Staines-upon-Thames.
- Weybridge Library: To prepare for the move from the current temporary location at the Weybridge Centre for the Community to the Weybridge Library Hub, we will need to close Weybridge Library from 5pm on Saturday 26 July until we open on Tuesday 19 August.
Closures due to bad weather
At times we may have libraries affected by bad weather.
