Coronavirus: due to the coronavirus outbreak, all Surrey Libraries are closed

Bank holiday closures

Easter 2020

  • Good Friday 10 April - closed.
  • Easter Monday 13 April - closed.

May Day 2020

  • Friday 8 May - closed. Please note that this bank holiday has been moved to coincide with the commemorations of the 75th anniversary of VE Day.

Spring Bank Holiday 2020

  • Monday 25 May - closed

Summer Bank Holiday 2020

  • Monday 31 August - closed.

Temporary closures to improve libraries

Ashford library will be closed for 7 weeks from Monday 20 April to Tuesday 9 June to allow for essential redecoration works to take place. Nearby Stanwell library will have extended opening hours during this period so please check their webpage for more details from 20 April. All Ashford customers will have their book loans extended during this period so books won't be due back until Tuesday 16 June. Rhymetime will continue to be held at the Ashford Salvation Army on Thursdays at 11am. We apologise for any inconvenience but look forward to bringing these exciting changes to your library.
