Summer Reading Challenge events
- Nature Makers: Saturday 27 July at 10.30. Booking required. Cost: £3 per child.
- Origami: Tuesday 30 July at 11am . Booking required. Cost: 50p per child.
- Cartoon Drawing with Emily, local illustrator and artist: Saturday 3 August at 11am. Booking required. Cost: £3 per child.
- Junk Modelling: Booking required. Cost: £1 per child. On the following dates:
- Tuesday 6 August at 10.30am and
- Monday 19 August at 10.30am.
- Children's Author Event. Reading with author Kate Hopkins: Thursday 8 August at 2.30pm. Booking required. Event free.
- Drop-in draw, colour and create: Monday 12 August, from 2.30 to 4.30pm. Event free.
- Children's Author Event. Reading with author Tina Talbot: Thursday 15 August at 2.30pm. Booking required. Event free.
- Outside Messy Art: Saturday 24 August from 10.30am (weather dependant). Event free.
- Badge Making. Cost: 50p per badge. On the following dates:
- Tuesday 27 August at 2pm and
- Saturday 31 August at 11am.

Monthly on Saturdays from 2.30pm until 3.30pm:

A monthly Saturday club looking at historical events in a fun and interactive way.

Knit and natter group
The group will meet fortnightly on a Thursday at 11.30am.
Upcoming dates: 8 August.
All welcome. Please bring your own knitting project, needles and wool.
Chess club
Beginners
Saturday once a month from 2pm until 3pm.

Ashtead Independents councillors' surgery
First Saturday of every month from 2pm until 4pm.
Meet your local councillors at Ashtead library. An opportunity to raise and discuss any issues that concern you, and where we may be able to help, in privacy, with your elected representatives:

Every month, on Saturdays from 10.30am.
