From Monday 12 April, in line with latest Government guidance, libraries across Surrey County Council will reopen for browsing and computer use. Full details on our Coronavirus information page.

Please note: due to the Coronavirus pandemic we are unable to offer our regular programme of events in the library. Surrey libraries are pleased to be offering a programme of online events including regular Rhymetimes and Storytimes.

Pebble rhymetime and storytime

Pebble rhymetime

Note: This event is not ticketed, please turn up at the given times below.

Join us for some rhymes and music.

  • Every Friday, from 10.15am to 10.45am.

Volunteers needed to lead some Pebble rhymetime sessions at Ashtead Library. Talk to library staff for more information.

Reading groups

Ashtead Library reading group

Note: At present membership is full but names can be placed on the waiting list.

  • Second Thursday of each month.

We are thinking about setting up a second reading group at the library, talk to library staff if you are interested in joining.
