Feel the beat, read the rhyme with Coral Rumble
- Weybridge Library: Saturday 15 August from 11am to 12pm
- Epsom Library: Saturday 15 August from 2pm to 3pm
Join poet and author Coral Rumble in this interactive celebration of poetry and the magic of words. We’ll be tapping and clapping and dancing around, as we read to the beat of this year’s Summer Reading Challenge!
Suitable for children aged 4 to 11 years. Suggested donation £2.

Pebble rhymetime and storytime

- Every Monday from 10.30am to 11am.
- Every Thursday from 10.30am to 11am.
No need to book for the sessions, numbers are restricted and spaces given on a first come, first served basis.

Reading groups
Reading Friends Book and Talking Book group
Thursdays at 4pm. Next date: Check with the library.
A social group to discuss talking books, have fun and make friends. Read, listen and chat.
Come along, meet new people and discuss books that you've listened to or read recently. Tea and Coffee will be provided.
There's no required reading or listening beforehand, just come along.
A member of the Epsom Library team will facilitate the session, we can also assist customers with ordering Large Print books, Talking books or books of their choice.

Other events
Chess club
Every Tuesday from 5.30pm to 6.45pm.
Learn to play chess, free, no need to book, for ages 7 upwards, adults welcome too.
Knit and natter group.
Meetings are fortnightly, from 2pm to 4pm on Thursdays. Upcoming dates: Please ask in the library.
The group provides a great way to make new friends, share tips and enjoy some great company. The group is hosted by Library Volunteers.
Simply turn up with your own knitting, crochet or stitching.
Sessions are free, no booking is required.

Yoga class
Join us for a calming yoga class from 2pm to 3pm every Friday (term time only).
Rose is a local yoga teacher with many years experience. Her classes combine flowing yoga sequences with gentle but powerful strength practices. Classes are relaxed and welcoming, with options and modifications to suit all abilities.
Cost: £10 per person, per session. You can pay on the day either with cash or a card. To book please email epsom.library@surreycc.gov.uk or speak to a member of staff in branch.
Lego club
Every Saturday from 11am to 12 noon.
Suitable for ages 4 and over. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Tickets cost £1 per child.
There will be 10 places available each week so booking necessary. Book tickets by emailing epsom.library@surreycc.gov.uk or book at the Epsom Library Helpdesk.
Digital support volunteer
Do you want help using a computer, the internet, your iPad, tablet or iPhone, or other IT related problems?
