Remarkable world of trees exhibition and events

Remarkable world of trees exhibition

An exhibition celebrating trees will be on display in the library:

  • Thursday 13 October until Saturday 7 January, during regular opening hours.

Epsom Library are excited to be able to host this fantastic exhibition, bought to us by The Tree Council, Surrey Tree Warden Scheme, creator Kate Bretherton and Surrey Count Council.

Inspired by Kate Bretherton's book, The Remarkable Trees of St Albans, this exhibition was originally displayed in St Albans Museum, and explores the world of trees from the soil they grow in, to the insects, birds, and animals that call them home. Visit the exhibition and events to get lots of ideas of how you can help trees, hedgerows, and our whole environment.

The exhibition includes a collaborative artwork by artist Susan Dean and the children of Southfield Park Primary School Epsom; artwork from selected local artists and sculptors; author talks and readings and a variety of art and craft workshops for adults and children.

Epsom Library are holding a number of events to support the exhibition. You will have a chance to be creative: walk & talk, paint, draw, make willow wreaths and dream catchers, press your own apple juice and spend some time in reflective mindfulness.

All events require pre booking via the online booking link provided, email to or by visiting Epsom Library.
