Elmer day
Saturday 24 May.
Join us for the most colourful day of the year!
Come and take part in our special activities:
- Make an Elmer collage. All day drop in. Suitable for ages 3+. Cost 50p per child
- Special Elmer Rhymetime at 10.30am. Event free.

Half term activities
Tuesday 27 May to Saturday 31 May.
There's lots of family fun during the Half Term week. Come and join in our Marvellous May Monsters and Fantastic Fairies activities!
All week during usual opening hours:
- Design a paper plate monster. Suitable for age 3+. Cost: 50p per child
- Make your very own fairy door to invite the magic into your home or garden. Suitable for age 3+. Cost: 50p per child.
- Monster scavenger hunt in the library. Activity free.
- Fairy and monster colouring. Activity free.
- Design a monster or build a fairy house with our Duplo. Activity free.
- Browse our special monster and fairy book displays.

Magician and children's entertainer Jelly Kelly
Thursday 29 May at 11am.
We are delighted to welcome Jelly Kelly back to Chertsey Library! Join her for a fun-filled storytime with lots of laughter and wonderful stories.

Every Friday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
Short rhymes and short stories followed by parental free play.

First Edition reading group
Every 6 weeks on a Monday from 3.30pm until 4.30pm.

Chatter & cheer
Every Monday from 2pm to 3.30pm.
Drop in for a friendly chat over a cup of tea.
Run in conjunction with Time to Talk and open to anyone.
Chertsey Woolcraft Guild
Every Tuesday from 2.15pm until 4pm.
If you are interested in joining or want to learn about knitting/crocheting or using a spindle, please pop down and they will show you. Everyone is welcome.
Friends of Chertsey library coffee and cake morning
Every Friday from 10am until 12 noon.
No booking required, just turn up to the library to get cake and coffee for £1.50
