Monday 12 August at 2.30pm.

Make and decorate your own Bookmark.

Drop in, no need to book. Event free but donations welcome.

Creative writing workshop with Mel Taylor-Bessent

Wednesday 14 August, from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.

Join Mel Taylor-Bessent for a jam-packed hour of writing games, fun activities, and creative writing challenges that allow children to unleash their creativity and create their own Imagination Islands. Suitable for all aspiring authors and reluctant writers, Mel is known for making writing fun with her energetic personality, engaging activities, and sheer love of writing.

Event suitable for ages 7 to 11years.

Calling all Marvellous Makers! We have Dogs Trust coming to Camberley Library.

Give your family a treat and learn some new tricks by coming along to Camberley Library for a free, fun, and dog-focused family workshop. Learn all about staying safe around dogs and keeping our four-pawed friends happy and healthy!

The workshop is aimed at children aged 7 to 11.

Come and experience simple paper folding and make your own Hedgehog.

An evening with Catherine Steadman

Tuesday 6 August, from 7.30pm to 9pm.

Join us at Camberley Library as we interview Catherine Steadman, as she discusses her latest book "Look in the Mirror".

Bestselling author Catherine Steadman on her brand new book popcorn thriller "Look in the Mirror" (publishing this summer 30 July). This is being described as The Girl Before meets Squid Game. It is incredibly filmic with a different edge to what is out there in the psych thriller space at the moment.

Catherine has done crime panel events before and she is great at them.

Jonathan Cox: The Nostrils Series

Friday 29 September at 2.30pm.

Join us at Camberley Library as we welcome Jonathan Cox to discuss his crime book series 'The Nostrils series' Jonathan will be giving a presentation and will be answering questions from the audience.

Every Tuesday at 10:30am.

Come along to our rhymetime at Bagshot Gardens care home.

This is a free session with refreshments provided for little ones and their parents/guardians.

Please note there is a resident cat (please be aware regarding any allergies).

Reading groups

Camberley library reading group

First Monday of every month from 10.15am until 11.15am.

Please note: this group is now full. We have opened a waiting list to join this group. If you are interested in adding your name to the wafting list, please leave your details with a member of staff at Camberley Library.

Library staff can help you to borrow the book the group are currently reading.

Chatterbooks reading group

Do you like reading, making friends and taking part in fun activities then join the Camberley library Chatterbooks reading group.

Suitable for children aged from 8 to 12 years. Places are limited to 10. To book your place, please speak to a member of staff in the library.

Every first Tuesday at 4.30pm.

Corrina Tots intergenerational toddler group

Special Rhymetime with Camberley Library. This is a free session with refreshments provided for little ones and their parents/guardians.

First Monday of the month from 10.30am.

Tea and coffee time

Every Tuesday from 12.30pm to 2pm.

Relax and chat with existing friends or make new ones at Camberley Library's Tea and Coffee time.

Unlimited refreshments available at a cost of £1 per head, payable at the helpdesk.

Hear here hearing champion sessions

First Tuesday of every month from 2pm until 4pm.

NHS volunteers, trained by the audiology department of the Royal Surrey County Hospital, providing community-based hearing aid maintenance.

High Cross Church soft play

Camberley Library visits High Cross Church on Wednesdays from 11am to 11.30am for an extra special Storytime. Upcoming dates:

Old Dean Wednesday Cafe

Peter our Digital Buddy will be available to help you with your computing problems. staff will be there to help with processing bus passes and other library related enquiries.

Every Saturday at 11am.

Every Saturday, from 10.30am to 11.30am.

See what amazing things you can build in our construction club!

Suitable for ages 7 to 11. Children under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

No need to book, just show up!

Digital Buddy

Do you want help using a computer, the internet, your iPad, tablet or iPhone, or other IT related problems?

Make an appointment to see our Digital Buddy:

  • Every Wednesday from 9.30am to 10.30am
  • Every Thursday from 2pm until 3pm

Sessions are by appointment only. Please drop in, email camberley.library@surreycc.gov.uk or telephone 03456 009 009 and press option 6 and ask to be put through to the library.
