Cost £1 per child.
Limited places so booking necessary. Tickets can be purchased at the helpdesk or by emailing ashford.library@surreycc.gov.uk
Please note: the children's library will be inaccessible for browsing during the event.
Imagination Spaces: Seed dance performances
Saturday 7 June from 2pm until 3pm.
Meet Kid and Pinto, two Seed Scientists on the look-out for new specimens. Together they follow the journey of a mysterious new seed that has appeared in the library, observing its transformation as it travels through the four seasons.
In celebration of The Great Big Green Week 2025, join us at Ashford library for an hour where we will take your child on an adventure of plants that will tap into a world of imagination through reading.
Tickets are by donation and can be booked online.

Pebble rhymetime
- Every Wednesday from 10.30am until 11am.
- Every Friday from 10.30am until 11am.
- Every Saturday from 10.30am until 11am.
No booking necessary.
Rhymetime sessions are free.

Every Friday, from 2pm to 4pm. Entry is free and all are welcome.
Drop-in councillor surgeries
- Surrey County Councillor Denise Turner-Stewart (Staines South and Ashford West), Councillor Sinead Mooney (Staines) and Spelthorne Borough councillors Paul Woodward (Ashford Town) and Olivia Rybinski (Ashford Town) will be holding surgeries at Ashford Library on:
- the first Saturday of each month, from 11am until 12 noon.
- Surrey County Councillor Harry Boparai (Sunbury Common & Ashford Common)
- the first Saturday of each month, from 3pm until 4pm.
- Spelthorne Borough councillors Joanne Sexton (Ashford East), Michelle Arnold (Ashford Town), and Katherine Rutherford (Ashford Common) will be holding surgeries from 11am to 12.30pm on the on the following Saturdays:
- 24 May
- 12 July
- 13 September
- 22 November
- 17 January
- 7 March
Digital support volunteer
Do you want help using a computer, the internet, your iPad, tablet or iPhone, or other IT related problems?
Make an appointment to see one of our Digital Support volunteers:
- Every Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm.
- Every Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm.
- Every Saturday from 10am to 12 noon.
Sessions are 30 minutes each and must be booked in advance. Please book a place by speaking to a member of staff at Ashford library or email ashford.library@surreycc.gov.uk.
