Libraries reopening news and updates

From Monday 12 April, in line with latest Government guidance, libraries across Surrey County Council will reopen for browsing and computer use. Full details on our Coronavirus information page.

Please note: due to the Coronavirus pandemic we are unable to offer our regular programme of events in the library. Surrey libraries are pleased to be offering a programme of online events including regular Rhymetimes and Storytimes.

Rhymetime and storytime


Note: These events are not ticketed, please turn up at the given times below.

Come and join us for some music and rhymes:

  • Every Monday, from 10.30am to 11am.

We would like to offer another Rhymetime session on a Thursday. If any parents would be interested in running this please pop into the library to discuss.

Reading groups

Tattenhams Library book club

  • Fourth Monday of every month, 1.30pm until 2.30pm.

Other events

Tea and cake afternoons

Note: There is a charge of £1 for tea and cake, a bit more if we have a paid speaker.

A friendly group that meets for a general chat, sometimes for a themed discussion, and sometimes for a talk or demonstration. All are welcome.

  • Second Wednesday of each month, from 2pm to 4pm.

Tattenham Corner W.I.

  • Meet on second Monday of the month, from 2pm to 4pm.
