Legend of Heart Library - interactive show and workshop for children
Saturday 9 May, two performances:
- 11.45am
- 1.30pm
Join Binta Butterfly on her musical, magical quest in Heart Library – she needs your help!
Inspired by West African Folktales, this interactive performance with original music and movement invites children to help decipher clues, follow trails, and find stories to help Binta find her sisters and write her next chapter.
The performance will be followed by a fun creative workshop where the children will be invited to design a book cover that says something about themselves, or a character in a book they love, or a subject they love.
The event is suitable for families with children 5 to 9 years old. Delivered by Paula David from the Rebel Tales Theatre and brought to you by Escalate Arts.
More information and book for a performance at Staines Library
