Dear Mr Snippet: an afternoon with author Roseanna Rolf

Friday 21 November, from 2.30 to 3.30pm.

Join us for a delightful hour of tea, treats, and conversation with author Roseanna, as she discusses her latest book "Dear Mr Snippet."  The true story of her grandparents , as newly weds, living through the tensions and brutalities of World war two

Tickets cost £2 including refreshments. They can be booked in the library  or by email to oxted.library@surreycc.gov.uk.

Rhymetime and storytime

Pebble rhymetime

Every Friday at 10.30am.

Spaces are limited, tickets are available in library on the day from 10am.

Pebble's storytime

Every Thursday during term time, from 2.15pm to 2.45pm. Stories, songs and Duplo play.

Our Storytimes for the dates below will be special Booktrust Storytimes. Dates and themes:

  • 13 November: Suki Cat Astronaut
  • 20 November: Superwolf
  • 27 November: The Jellyfish Jiggle
  • 4 December: Tiger, It's Snowing

Suitable for children aged under 5. No booking necessary. Sessions free.

Other events

Meet up and catch up - Sensory Services by Sight for Surrey

Session will be held monthly on Wednesdays between 10am to 12 noon. Upcoming dates:

10 December.

Join Sight for Surrey with our new informal meet ups. Supporting people who are blind, vision impaired, deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing.

Lego club

Every Wednesday from 3.45pm until 4.30pm during term time only.

Suitable for ages Age 4+.

Cost: £1.25 per child, per session.

Next terms sessions to start on: Wednesday 5 November.

No drop ins. Please book to avoid disappointment either at the help desk or by emailing oxted.library@surreycc.gov.uk from 9.30am on Tuesday 28 October.

Knit and natter

Last Wednesday of the month from 10.30am to 12 noon.

Free of charge. Bring your own project to work on or just come for a chat!

Second Saturday of the month, from 10.30am to 12 noon.

Drop in and have a go!

Free of charge.

Digital Support Volunteer

Every Thursday from 10am to 1pm.

Do you want help using a computer, the internet, your iPad, tablet or iPhone, or other IT related problems?

Our Digital Support Volunteer is available to help you on, please book your appointment in the library or by emailing oxted.library@surreycc.gov.uk.
