The Remarkable World of Trees Exhibition

From 28 May to 31 August.

This wonderful exhibition is brought to Dorking and Leatherhead Libraries by The Surrey Tree Warden Network, The Tree Council, creator Kate Bretherton and Surrey Libraries.

The Exhibition explores the world of trees from the soil they grow in, to the insects, birds, and animals that call them home. Visit the exhibition and events to get lots of ideas of how you can help trees, hedgerows, and our whole environment.

At Leatherhead Library, we are excited to host a display of paintings by artist and illustrator Judit Matthews.

Judit is an illustrative artist working from her studio in Banstead. Her subject matter ranges from quirky illustrated maps to abstract landscapes with an array of creatures, animals and figures. She designs with pattern and colour, working with acrylics, ink with a dip pen, oil pastels and collage.

She is also the illustrator of the series of children's books written by children's author Tina Talbot.

Judit's paintings and additional items will be available to buy at Leatherhead Library.

Leatherhead library will be holding the following events in support of the Exhibition.
