Code Club

We are starting our new Code Club at Godalming library. Code Club is a nationwide network of volunteers and educators who run free coding clubs for children aged 9–13 to build and share their ideas, learning along the way.

Please, be aware that you are booking for six weeks. Sessions dates are the following Tuesdays: 26 February, 5 March, 12 March, 19 March, 26 March and 2 April, all from 5pm to 6pm.

Pebble rhymetime and storytime

Pebble rhymetime

Note: There are 25 tickets available, which are given out on a first-come-first-serve basis. We regret we cannot admit anyone once the session has started.

Join us for some rhymes and music with Pebble the penguin.

Family rhymetime

Join us for a rhymetime for the under 5's.

  • Every Saturday, from 11am to 11.30am.

Reading groups

Godalming Library reading group

Note: The group is currently full but we can add you to a waiting list if you are interested in joining. Please enquire at the desk.

  • Third Thursday of each month, from 2pm to 3pm.

Hearing Champion Sessions

This free drop-in service for people with NHS hearing aids includes basic maintenance, battery supply, trouble-shooting, cleaning and re-tubing.

  • Sessions will be held monthly on the first Monday of the month, 10.30am–11.30am.

Digital Buddy

Would you like help using computers and the internet? Make an appointment with our Digital Buddy who can offer free, one to one, support.

Knit and stitch craft group

A drop in craft group for all. Please bring your own project to work on. Tea and biscuits will be provided for a small charge of 30p.

  • Mondays, from 2.30pm to 4pm:
    • details awaited, ask in the library.

Scrabble Group

Come and have some fun and make new friends. Anyone is invited to drop in, from beginner upwards.

We have 3 boards available which will be allocated on a first come first served basis. If you would like to bring your own scrabble set that would also be welcome. We look forward to seeing you!
