Special events
Health Information Week, using the NHS app
Do you need help using the NHS app? Our Digital Welfare Support Officers will be at various libraries during Health Information Week (20 to 26 January) and can help you sign-up, solve common issues or guide you in navigating and using the app.
- Monday 20 January: Redhill Library from 9.30am until 5.30pm (drop-in)
- Tuesday 21 January: Hersham Library from 10am until 1pm and 2pm until 5pm (drop-in)
- Wednesday 22 January: Woking Library, in collaboration with Surrey Heartlands 10am until 4pm (booking required, see note below)
- Thursday 23 January: Ewell Library 9.30am until 5pm (drop-in)
- Friday 24 January: Frimley Green Library 10am until 1pm and 2pm until 5pm (drop-in)
All events are drop-in, except for Woking which requires you to book a 30 minute slot. You can book by asking a member of staff at the enquiry desk, emailing woking.library@surreycc.gov.uk or phoning 03456 009 009 (option 7), our phone lines are open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.
Please note that due to the nature of the drop-in sessions, you may have a short wait at busy times.
Please bring your phone/tablet/laptop or if you don't have any of these, public computers will be available.
If it's your first time using the app, you'll need to bring ID with you to register for it. These are the accepted forms of ID for registration:
- Passport
- UK or European Driving License (Full or Provisional)
- European National Identity Card
- Biometric Residence Permit (BRP), UK Residence Card, or European Economic Area (EEA) Biometric Residence Card (BRC)
Pebble rhymetime and storytime

Every Thursday:
- 10am to 10.30am and
- 10.45am to 11.15am.
Limited numbers, places allocated on a first come first served basis. Tickets available from the library desk on the day. Please come early to avoid disappointment.

Storytime
Every Wednesday from 10.30am until 11am.
Storytime with colouring. Numbers are limited, first come first served. Please ask at the library desk.

Reading groups
Bourne Hall Booksters' reading group
First Tuesday of the month at 2pm

Other events
Lego Club (Starting Thursday 6 February)
Thursdays, from 3.30 to 4.30pm.
Suitable for ages 7 to11. Cost: £2 per session.

Crazy crafts club
Every Saturday at 11am
Tickets are £1 per child. Suitable for 3 years old and over, accompanied with an adult.
Digital Buddy
There is currently no Digital Buddy service at Ewell library.
