Poetry hub launch

Friday 25 April, from 2pm to 3pm.

We will be launching our Poetry Hub with Surrey's Poet Laureate, Adam Gary, Leader of the Council, Tim Oliver, and the Mayor of Elmbridge in attendance.

The event will include tea and coffee and allow attendees to discuss the Poetry Hub, what it involves, and provide a discussion/chat for all who wish to know more.

The poetry hub sessions will run every first and third Friday of the month following the launch, offering interactive sessions, readings, poetry writing, in a fun, relaxed, community-focused, encouraging environment.

As acting facilitators of the poetry hub sessions, myself, and volunteer, Victoria Bell, will be on hand to answer any queries from the public. Attendees may also wish to speak with the poet laureate also concerning the sessions.

This event is a warm welcome for all wishing to celebrate the upcoming sessions and a chance to explore more of what they will entail.

Event free and no booking required. All ages are welcome.
