An afternoon with author Carol Drinkwater
Wednesday 6 May, from 2pm to 3pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early
Join Carol Drinkwater as she discusses "One Summer in Provence", a gripping tale of secrets, family, and life in sun‑soaked France.
The novel follows Celia Grey, whose seemingly perfect life on a thriving Provençal vineyard is shaken when a young man claims to be the son she gave up decades earlier. His arrival for a celebratory summer weekend sets off a chain of secrets, doubts, and revelations that threaten everything Celia has built.
Carol will discuss the inspiration behind the book, her experience writing about Provence, and her established career as a novelist and actor. Carol will be reading extracts from her novel and there will be the opportunity to ask questions before the signing session towards the end of the event.
Booking necessary. Tickets cost £5 per person.
