An Afternoon with Crime Authors Elly Griffiths and Lesley Thomson

  • Monday 3 October from 2.30pm until 4pm.

Join us as we celebrate the launch of Libraries Week at Esher Library in the company of two of our most celebrated crime fiction novelists Elly Griffiths and Lesley Thomson.

Lesley Thomson will be talking about her latest thriller "The Companion", a country house mystery with a distinctive 21st Century twist.

Lesley Thomson is the best selling author of the Detective's Daughter series of of crime novels. The latest of which "The Distant Dead" was published in 2021.

Elly Griffiths will be talking about her latest mystery, "Bleeding Heart Yard" and the short story collection "Marple".

Elly Griffiths is the best selling author of over 20 detective novels including the highly popular Ruth Galloway series and Brighton Mysteries featuring the enigmatic Max Mephisto.

Both writers will be reading extracts from their new novels and copies of the books will be available for purchase.

Libraries Week celebrates Lifelong Learning: find out how each novel came about and maybe pick up some tips for your own crime fiction novel.

Esher Library will open specially for the event only. Doors will open at 2pm.

Some car parking is available nearby in the adjacent fee paying car park and Esher Library is a few minutes walk away from the High Street.
