Libraries reopening news and updates

From Monday 19 July we will be following step four of the Government guidelines in opening up our services. We recommend you wear a face covering when you visit. We may reduce capacity in some of our smaller libraries to allow everyone more space to enjoy their visit. Full details on our Coronavirus information page.

Special events

Story hunt

  • Friday 30 July from 2.30pm until 3pm.

Join storyteller John Kirk on an amazing nature-inspired story hunt at our libraries. Let your imagination run wild as you join a storytelling experience like no other. Jam-packed with interactive scavenger hunting fun, these sessions are suitable for families with story hunters aged 3 upwards.

This is a FREE event but booking necessary. Please book.

Numbers will be limited so hurry and don't miss out on this unique experience for your children!

We are following step four of the Government guidelines in running this event. We still recommend anyone above the age of 11 to wear a face covering when visiting our libraries.

Pebble rhymetime and storytime

Rhymetimes and storytimes will be slowly reintroduced within the libraries. To start with this will be at selected libraries only. These will be bookable and spaces will be limited. Please book on a session.
