Special events

Warm welcome week at Caterham Libraries

Join us for #WarmWelcomeWeek at Caterham Libraries.

This week all our events and activities are completely free with no need to book in advance and free hot and cold drinks are available.

Caterham Valley

  • Tuesday 20 January, from 10.30am to 12 noon: Rhymetime for under 5's followed by a Stay and Play session.
  • Wednesday 21 January, 11am to 4pm: Puzzle and Games day, bring a friend or 2 and play a board game or take a seat and help complete our community puzzle.
  • Friday 23 January, from 4pm to 4.45pm: Free Lego club
  • Saturday 24 January from:
    • 11am to 12 noon: Free children's crafts
    • 2pm to 4pm: Free Adults Sketch Club

Caterham Hill

  • Monday 19 January, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm: Puzzle and Games afternoon, bring a friend or 2 and play a board game or take a seat and help complete our community puzzle.
  • Friday 23 January from:
    • 10.30am to 12 noon: Rhymetime for under 5's followed by a Stay and Play session with refreshments available.
    • 3pm to 4.30pm: Free Lego club.
  • Saturday 24 January, from 11am to 3pm: Free children's crafts.

Pebble rhymetime and storytime

Pebble rhymetime

Every Tuesday from 10.30am until 11am.

Followed by Stay and Play, from 11am to 12 noon. No booking required.

Other events

LEGO club

Every Friday from 4pm to 4.45pm.

Cost: £1 per child per session. No need to book, just drop in.

Sketch Club

Second and fourth Saturday of each month from 2pm until 4pm.

The event is free and inclusive to any level of ability or experience. The event will be focused towards adults, but older children are welcome.

Please bring your own materials.
