Foster Care fortnight: Pop-up stand
Tuesday 19 May, 10am to 1pm.
Could fostering be your next chapter? To celebrate Foster Care Fortnight, we are hosting ‘Local Libraries, Local Care’ drop-in sessions in Surrey libraries. To find out what fostering is all about, come and visit our stand.

Every Tuesday from 10.30am until 11am.
Followed by Stay and Play, from 11am to 12 noon. No booking required.

Reading groups
Left on read
First Wednesday of the Month, from 3.45pm to 4.35pm.
A monthly group for teen readers who are open to all genres.
Teen reading group, suitable for ages 13 to 18.

Other events
LEGO club
Every Friday from 4pm to 4.45pm.
Cost: £1 per child per session. No need to book, just drop in.
Sketch Club
Second and fourth Saturday of each month from 2pm until 4pm.
The event is free and inclusive to any level of ability or experience. The event will be focused towards adults, but older children are welcome.
Please bring your own materials.
Digital support volunteer
For help using your computer or laptop you can book a session with our Digital support volunteer.
- Tuesday to Friday: Our volunteer does not have regular hours. Please book in advance at the library or email caterhamvalley.library@surreycc.gov.uk to arrange a date and time.
- Every Saturday, from 2pm to 4pm. Please book at the library or email caterhamvalley.library@surreycc.gov.uk
