Charges for requested items in libraries

Libraries reopening news and updates

Until lockdown ends, libraries will offer Ready Reads, the click-and-collect service and computers for essential use. Full details on our Coronavirus information page.

If the particular title that you are looking for is not in stock or is being borrowed by someone else at your local library, you can request for a copy to be sent from another library. How to request a title?

There is a charge for requesting titles (shown in the table below). You can pay a charge online, or when you next visit a library.

Request charges (per item)

Please note: the normal request fees for Surrey libraries' stock reservations have been waived until further notice in response to the pandemic.
