Libraries reopening news and updates

44 libraries are now open for public access. For the latest updates and information on current library services, opening hours and how we are keeping customers and staff safe, visit our Coronavirus information page.

If the particular title that you are looking for is not in stock or is being borrowed by someone else at your local library, you can request for a copy to be sent from another library. How to request a title?

There is a charge for requesting titles (shown in the table below). You can pay a charge online, or when you next visit a library.

Request charges (per item)

Please note: the normal request fees for Surrey libraries' stock reservations have been waived until further notice in response to the pandemic.
