Audio visual materials such as DVDs can be hired by the week for a weekly charge which is marked on them.
Not every library has the full range of audio visual materials available. Check what is available at your local library.

- Entertainment DVD (1 week loan).
- Weekly hire charge £2.
- Overdue charges are 50p per day to a maximum of £10.
- Information DVD.
- No hire charge.
- Overdue charges are 30p per open day (maximum charge £9). If borrowed on an open ticket adult card the charges will be 15p per day (maximum £4.30).
- Adult spoken word CD (3 week loan).

- Overdue charges will be 30p per open day (maximum charge £9).
- Children's spoken word CD (3 week loan).
- No hire charge.
- There are no overdue charges if items were borrowed on a Child, Teen or Young Adult card. If items are borrowed on an Adult ticket the charges will be 10p per open day (maximum £3). If borrowed on an open ticket adult card the charges will be 5p per open day (maximum £1.50).
- Language courses on CD.
- No hire charge.
- Overdue charges will be 30p per open day (maximum charge £9). If borrowed on an open ticket adult card the charges will be 15p per day (maximum £4.50).
