Surrey History Centre

We are pleased to welcome visitors for pre-booked access to our unique collections. We are now open 4 days a week (Tuesday to Friday), with both morning and afternoon sessions. We are also open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. Please note that the searchroom is closed to the public at lunchtime (12.45pm to 1.45pm on weekdays; 1pm to 1.45pm on Saturdays).

Surrey History Centre will be closed to the public on the afternoon of Tuesday 30 August, we would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.

We are continuing to take precautions to protect you, other visitors, and our staff, and ask for your support in this. We recommend that face coverings continue to be worn by people visiting us.

Monday: closed
Tuesday: 9.30am to 12.45pm and 1.45pm to 5pm
Wednesday: 10am to 12.45pm and 1.45pm to 5pm
Thursday: 9.30am to 12.45pm and 1.45pm to 5pm
Friday: 9.30am to 12.45pm and 1.45pm to 5pm
Saturday: Second and fourth Saturdays of the month, 9.30am to 1pm and 1.45pm to 4.15pm
Sunday: closed
