Notice of Confirmation of an Order

Conversion of part of Public Footpath 200 Camberley and Frimley into Cycle Track Order 2024

On 27 February 2024 Surrey County Council confirmed the above Order made under 3(1) section of the Cycle Tracks Act 1984.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to convert parts of the width of Public Footpath No. 200 Camberley & Frimley from Public Bridleway 13 Camberley & Frimley 195 metres north of its junction with Frith Hill Road at OS Grid Reference 489211 158335 in a generally east north easterly direction for 530 metres at a width of 2.5 metres along the northern side of the path to Public Bridleway 14 at OS Grid Reference 489702 158468 then recommences from Public Bridleway 14 at a point 77 metres to the east at OS Grid Reference 489788 158475 in a generally south easterly direction for 626 metres at a width of 2.5 metres along the north eastern side of the path to Public Bridleway 15 at a point 100 metres north west of its junction with Frith Hill Road at OS Grid Reference 490308 158173

A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Countryside Access Office, Surrey County Council, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ by appointment (Tel 0300 2001003), Surrey Heath Borough Council offices, Surrey Heath House Knoll Road, Camberley, GU15 3HD during opening hours and at Frimley Green Library, Beech Road, Frimley Green, Camberley, GU16 6LQ.
A copy of this notice may be viewed on the Council's website (www.surreycc.gov.uk) under Footpaths, Byways and Bridleways. Alternatively a copy of the Order and map may be purchased from the County Council at a cost of £4.00.

The Order comes into force on 8 March 2024 but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highway Act 1980 as amended or on the ground that any requirement of the Act as amended or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order he or she may under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act within six weeks from 8 March 2024 make an application to the High Court.
