Norbury Park Member Surgery
We welcome you to speak with Marisa Heath, Surrey County Council’s Cabinet member for Environment. This surgery style drop-in meeting is an opportunity for you to speak on a one-to-one (or two-to-one) basis about issues that matter the most to you about Norbury Park and Surrey's Countryside Estate.
Any issues and comments from the surgery will be raised directly to senior countryside officers and directors at regular Cabinet Member briefings.
- Date: Thursday 24th September
- Place: The Pond Barn, Bocketts Farm, Young Street, Fetcham, Surrey, KT22 9BS (Number 13 on the Bocketts Farm interactive map)
- Time: 3pm to 5pm. Drop by anytime, no need to pre-book

Santa Cruise Ticket Sale Day
Take the ‘Rosebud’ trip boat on a short journey to Santa’s woodland grotto during December when we run the hugely popular Santa Cruises. Tickets go on sale for our popular Santa Cruises on Monday 28 September from 9am. Booking is in person at the Canal Visitor Centre or via telephone: 01252 370073.
- Date: 1 to 23 December
- Place: Basingstoke Canal Visitor Centre, Mytchett Place Road, Mytchett Surrey, GU16 6DD
- Time: Various times between 10.30am and 7pm
- Cost: Prices range from £16.50 to £24 per ticket. Babies £4.50

Volunteer at Tice's Meadow
Come and join our rangers and volunteer at Tice's Meadow near Farnham. Tasks might include; clearing vegetation, willow coppicing, maintaining paths, fence and gate repairs, habitat management, wildlife surveys and more.
We have volunteer sessions running on the following dates:
- Date: Friday 2, 9, 23, 30 October and Saturday 17 October
- Tasks: Path clearance, Reedbed clearance, Willow coppicing and Bankside coppicing
- Place: Tice's Meadow. Please meet at the Mound which is shown on our interpretation boards around the site.
- Time: 10am to 2pm

Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to get active outdoors, all paces are welcome. This relaxed group run is all about enjoying fresh air, connecting with nature, meeting new people, and supporting both physical and mental wellbeing.

- Time: Registration at 8.30am, run starts at 9am
- Cost: Free event
