Can you enrol on an adult learning course?

Most of our courses are open to adults aged 18 and over (on the course start date).

Anyone can enrol regardless of where you live in the country. Most courses have online enrolment on the website, but we can also take enrolment by phone if you contact us.

For some of our more specialist provision (including all those listed below), you'll need to be 19 and over (on the course start date).

Our Adult Skills provision helps adults work towards and gain a qualification in areas such as English and maths and English for speakers of other languages (ESOL). An Information, Assessment and Guidance session is required before enrolment onto one of these courses, to assess the level of course suitable for the learner. These are usually just informal discussions to help you find the course for you.

Our Passport to Wellbeing provision is aimed at adults who suffer with, or are recovering from, mild to moderate mental wellbeing difficulties. An Information, Advice and Guidance session is required before enrolment.

Our Supported Learning provision is for adults with learning disabilities. An Information, Advice and Guidance session is required before enrolment.

Further information about our specialist provisions mentioned above and also our Henrietta Parker Trust (HPT) courses, Family Learning and Outreach work can be found on the specific webpages throughout the site.
