Can you enrol on an adult learning course?
Our courses are open to all adults aged 18 and over (on the course start date).
Anyone can enrol onto these regardless of where you live. The majority of our courses are available for enrolment through our website, however we also take enrolments over the phone with our Customer Service Team or in person at one of our centres.
For our more specialist provisions (including all those listed in below), enrolments are only open to adults aged 19 and over on 31 August in the new Academic Year. For example, for our 2020/21 Academic Year, all learners must be to be aged 19 or over on 31 August 2020.
Our Adult Skills provision helps adults work towards and gain a qualification in areas such as English and maths. Due to the way we receive funding for these qualification courses, these courses are restricted to people that do not reside within a Greater London Borough. An Information, Assessment and Guidance session is required before enrolment onto one of these courses, to assess the level of course suitable.
Our Passport to Wellbeing provision is aimed at adults who currently suffer with, or are recovering from, mild to moderate mental wellbeing difficulties. An Information, Advice and Guidance session is required before enrolment onto one of these courses, to assess which courses would be best to support you.
Our Supported Learning provision is for adults with learning disabilities. As with our other more specialist courses, an Information, Advice and Guidance session is required before enrolment to assess suitability.
Further information about the more specialist provisions mentioned above and also our Henrietta Parker Trust (HPT) courses, Family Learning and Outreach work can be found on the specific webpages throughout the site.
