Cookery Workshop - Homemade Pasta

Course intent

Have you always wanted to make your own pasta, but feel a bit overwhelmed? No worries, let our tutor reassure you and remove any fears.

What will we cover?

During this 5.5-hour workshop you will learn how to prepare your pasta dough, and create lasagne sheets, tagliatelle and filled pasta dough. You will build your knowledge and adapt for your different dishes long after the workshop.

Your tutor is passionate about home cookery and looks forward to sharing her wealth of experience, and recipes with you. “ I will be teaching a basic pasta dish and sharing ways to adapt it to widen your pasta-making skills. See you at the workshop.”

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

This workshop is suitable for all abilities, but not complete beginners to cookery. Less confident cooks may be encouraged to limit the number of dishes they make.

This workshop is suitable for vegetarians or any other specific dietary requirements.

You will be required to meet hygiene and safety requirements, including frequent handwashing, recycling waste appropriately and cleaning your own work surfaces and equipment.

This workshop is delivered in English.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

You will receive an email before the start of the workshop informing you of the key ingredients and resources you will need provide. It is important to wear clothes and footwear suitable for a busy, hot kitchen. Face coverings are optional.

What can I do when I finish the course?

We have a range of general and more specialist cookery and baking courses available, throughout the year.
