Flower Arranging - All Abilities

Course intent

Come along and join us in a fun and relaxed environment to learn about flowers, foliage and accessories and discover some of the secrets of professional florists

What will we cover?

You will learn to:

• Create a variety of seasonal flower arrangements and hand tied designs in both contemporary and traditional themes.
• Identify the elements and principles of design as used in floristry and flower arranging.
• Use colour to enhance the designs created to suit the environment they are to be placed in.

This course will build on past learning, week by week, to develop new abilities. You will find your own progress much easier if you attend every lesson.

What can I do when I finish the course?

Mixed Ability courses are suitable for those with any level of previous experience.

Additional information

The fee does not cover the cost of materials (flowers & foliage) that you will need to purchase, or equipment you will use. Each week you will be required to purchase materials to create your designs; this will be advised by the tutor in advance.
