Jewellery & Silverwork - Textured Drop Earrings - Beginners and Improvers

Course intent

Create stunning wearable art - learn to craft exquisite, textured, silver drop earrings, guided by your expert tutor. You will leave with a beautiful, handcrafted earrings ready to wear or gift. Enjoy the well-being benefits gained through working in a friendly, creative learning environment.

What will we cover?

• Hands-on earring making: hammering, texturing, soldering

• Personalized design: textures and finishes to make your earring unique

  Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

  Beginners and those with or have some silversmithing experience.

Jewellery making involves a lot of fine work so having steady hands will help.

As our courses are taught in English, please contact us if you have any concerns about your level of English.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

Materials and tools are provided.

• a notebook or sketchpad and pencil
• wear closed-toe shoes
• an apron and/or wear old clothes
• tie back long hair

  What can I do when I finish the course?

  You can progress onto other workshops to make different items of jewellery or join a longer Jewellery and Silverwork class with Surrey Adult Learning.
