Digital Photography – Using Your Digital Camera (Beginners)

Course intent

This workshop will give you a basic understanding of how your Digital camera works and enable you to start using your camera more creatively.

What will we cover?

Photography for those wishing to improve knowledge and experience in the use of the camera’s functions, composition, lighting, and a sound general knowledge of photographic skills. Practical exercises using your camera's manual settings to achieve different effects. There may be opportunities to take photos outside, weather and venue permitting

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

This workshop is for beginners. No skill with any type of camera is required, just a willingness to learn.

For adults aged 18 years or older.

As our courses are taught in English, please contact us if you have any concerns about your level of English.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

Your camera and its fully-detailed camera instruction manual (Book/pdf format)

What can I do when I finish the course?

In discussion with your tutor you may like to progress onto our other Arts & Crafts courses
