Drawing - Brush Drawing - Gardens and Flowers - All Abilities

Course intent

This one-day workshop will introduce you to making brush-drawn paintings of flowers and gardens learning how to work with minimal use of pencil drawing, instead, using watercolour brushes directly on the paper. Enjoy the well-being benefits gained through working in a friendly, creative learning environment

What will we cover?

• You will be shown how to paint lines, marks and shapes using a range of brushes and make your own samples of these techniques.

  • You will then choose a resource for inspiration. This could be from flowers that you bring in or your own photo of flowers or a garden.
  • The tutor will have a selection of her images to share
  • You will be given 1-2-1 help throughout the day
  • Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?
