Flower Arranging - Flowers for Weddings & Celebrations

Course intent

The aim of this workshop is to learn how to create a lovely hand tied bouquet for a bride (or as a gift), a button-hole and a beautiful table centrepiece for that special day!

What will we cover?

During the day you will cover how to design and create a handtied bouquet, a wired buttonhole and a table centrepiece, guaranteed to create the WOW factor, using a variety of tips and different techniques .

You will also learn how to care for your flowers to promote longevity to your designs

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

Anyone who is looking to create floral designs for any occasion who has a love of flowers and wants to expand their knowledge and skill set. Any prospective bride wanting to be more involved in creating their own flowers would benefit from the experience. No previous experience or knowledge is required and those with some experience may wish to expand their creativity.

As our courses are taught in English, please contact us if you have any concerns about your level of English.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

A list of materials will be sent out prior to the start date as you will have to provide your own flowers, foliage and materials.

Equipment: scissors, bucket for flowers, plastic sheet or cloth to work on, small knife, notebook and pen.

You may wish to have a camera available to record your work.

We suggest you wear an apron or wear old clothes when flower arranging

What can I do when I finish the course?

Further short courses and weekly classes are available that cover a range of topics from seasonal specialities to wedding flowers and themed designs

Additional information

The fee does not cover the cost of materials – you will need to purchase these as well as bringing the equipment that you use.
