If you're responsible for a child, there is a range of financial assistance available depending on your family's circumstance. Some of the options are listed below and also visit family finance where a whole range of support can be found.
Club4 holiday activity and food camps
Club4 is for children of school age who receive benefit-related free school meals. Part of the Marcus Rashford inspired Holiday Activity and Food programme to keep children busy over the school holidays. The scheme offers parents a helping hand by giving children the chance to stay active and engaged alongside others of the same age. They also receive a healthy meal each day - and it's all completely free.

Tax-Free Childcare
The Government offer up to £2,000 a year of tax-free childcare to help lower costs. Visit get Tax-Free Childcare (GOV.UK) to see if you are eligible.
School uniforms

Great British Summer Savings
UK Government announced a new scheme for Summer 2026 on 20 May including free bus travel for children and targeted food tariff cuts. Cost of living boost with free bus travel for children and targeted food tariff cuts - GOV.UK.
