Free school meal and pupil premium benefits

Pupils are eligible for free school meals if their parents receive one or more qualifying benefits.

If you think your child may be entitled to free school meals, contact your school to apply.

Pupil Premium is additional funding that schools can claim, based on the number of pupils within the school who are eligible for free school meals. See our eligibility for free school meals and pupil premium web pages for further information.


Tax-free childcare

The Government offer up to £2,000 a year of tax-free childcare to help lower costs. Visit Get tax free childcare (GOV.UK) to see if you are eligible.

School uniforms

Funded early education

Early Learning for 2 year olds (formerly known as FEET)

Some 2 year olds can get up to 15 hours of funded early education and childcare a week, for 38 weeks a year.
