The White Downs

A short circular walk taking in the beautiful woodland (renowned for its bluebells) and chalk grassland of the White Downs on the slopes of the North Downs.

Chessington Countryside Walk

A gently undulating circular walk taking in the countryside around Chessington. As you walk this route it may come as a surprise to you how much attractive countryside there is close to the London-Surrey border.

Norbury Park Western Loop

A fairly easy walk around Norbury Park, a mix of woodland, chalk grassland and farmed fields. On a clear day there are good views to the Greensand Ridge and the North Downs.

Runnymede Memorial Trail

A circular walk from Cooper's Hill in Englefield Green taking in the Runnymede meadows, a stretch of the River Thames and visiting three beautiful memorials along the way, the John F Kennedy Memorial, the Magna Carta Memorial and the Air Forces Memorial.

Lammas Lakes and Staines Moor

A short walk in Staines-upon-Thames, part of which is easy access, taking in Lammas Lakes, Staines Moor, a short stretch of the River Thames and several smaller meadows that form an oasis for wildlife within the suburban area.

Hogsmill River Trail: part one

A relatively flat LINEAR walk from Ewell West rail station to Malden Manor rail station, following the course of the Hogsmill River and part of the London Loop long distance path. Combine with part two, below, to finish at Kingston rail station.

An easy LINEAR walk from Malden Manor rail station to Kingston rail station, following the course of the Hogsmill River and part of the London Loop long distance path. combine with part one, above, to start at Ewell West rail station.

Weybridge Locks and Levels

A relatively easy flat circular walk from Weybridge Station. The route passes through part of the town and along the towpath of the Wey Navigation between Weybridge and New Haw.

A hilly circular walk from Boxhill and Westhumble Station in the village of Westhumble, passing through part of the Polesden Lacey Estate, Ranmore Common and Denbies Vineyard. The route follows part of the North Downs Way National Trail.
