Surrey Arts is excited to launch a new music centre for the North of Surrey at Strodes College, Egham. The centre will be the new home for a number of ensembles and lessons previously held at the Magna Carta school. We hope that the centre will be beacon for positive activity for young people in the area.
Surrey Arts Area Manager for the North, Christina Pavia says 'It is important that young people across the county have opportunities to engage in music including being part of a music group and we are very grateful and excited to be able to continue to grow our provision in North Surrey in partnership with Strode's College.'
Strode's College will now be home to:
- Senior Guitar Ensemble: Grade 3+. Friday 6pm until 7.30pm
- Junior Guitar Ensemble: Beginner to Grade 3. Saturday 9.20am until 10.50am,
- Senior String Orchestra: Grade 4+. Saturday 9am until 11am
- Junior String Orchestra: Grade 1 to 4. Saturday 9am until 11am
- Instrumental lessons
