Mindfulness for stress management
Mindfulness is the practice of acknowledging what you're feeling without making a judgement. It helps direct attention away from negative thoughts or anxieties. Guided breathing techniques, body scanning, or seated meditation can all promote relaxation and reduce stress. Mindfulness can be practised anywhere at any time. Research suggests Mindfulness can help you deal with stressful situations or conflicts better.
Whether you're feeling the stresses of modern day living or just generally want to get or stay fit, participating in health-related fitness activities can offer real health benefits.
