Course intent
A one day workshop, covering basic drawing techniques and the importance of relaxation to release your creative side !
What will we cover?
You will learn:
Basic sketching skills
Investigating line-tone and texture
You will learn basic composition and perspective
Practice techniques
Gain confidence in using drawing materials
Have access to one to one support
Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?
For Beginners with little or no experience of drawing or those who have practised before, but need a refresher to get motivated again
For adults aged 18 years or older.
As our courses are taught in English, please contact us if you have any concerns about your level of English.
What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?
The materials and resources you will need on this one-day course include:
A tin of mixed grade pencils from hard to soft
Coloured pencils are also recommended. The best brands include Caran D'Ache.(The tutor will bring some coloured pencils in case any learners do not have these)
Notebook & Pen
A Drawing Pad (A4) or Sketchbook
A basic biro /ballpoint pen
A tablet eraser (WH Smith)

What can I do when I finish the course?
In discussion with your tutor, you may like to progress onto further Arts and Crafts Courses.
