Course intent
This course is designed for Advanced Apple iPad users who want to take the next step with iWorks and use more some of the more advanced features of Pages, Numbers and Keynote to enable complex word-processed documents, spreadsheets and presentations. This course also covers the use of Social Media and the importance of a robust filing system by using the Files app.

We'll evaluate your skills and provide a course offer, which you must accept to secure your place.
What will we cover?
By the end of the course, you will have covered most of the following: -
- Create professional documents using advanced formatting
- Complex table layouts
- Independently create more complex spreadsheets using functions and formulas
- Insert and format pictures/online images/charts into reports and presentations into each iWorks app.
- Copying and pasting between iWorks apps
- Using Conditional Formatting
- Independently perform calculations
- Presentation themes
- Slide show timings
- Animating objects
- Poster making
- Exporting files
- Folders and sub folders
- Identify which Social Media platforms are best for a specific marketing campaign.
- Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values
Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?
This course is for anyone who:
- Already uses an iPad to create documents and wants to expand their existing knowledge of Pages, Numbers and Keynote
- May have already completed iPad Digital Skills & Confidence - Stage 4

- iPad
- Notebook and pen
What can I do when I finish the course?
In discussion with your tutor, you may like to progress onto another Surrey Adult learning course, such as:

- EDSQ for iPads level 1
- Microsoft – Word-processing – Word
- Microsoft – Spreadsheets – Excel
Or your tutor will advise you where to look, if you wish to do something else
