Course intent

To introduce you to different part of London, so that you can return later and explore in more depth, if you wish.

What will we cover?

In this two-part course, a talk at Esher on 26 April will cover some of the highlights of the

area and a two-hour walking tour in London on 3 May will offer the chance to consolidate what has been learnt.

Details will be given in the first session.

For courses of more than one session, you will find you make the most progress if you attend every taught lesson and complete any self-directed study opportunities provided.

Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

It’s for anyone who likes exploring London by joining also a two-hour walking tour.

As our courses are taught in English, please contact us if you have any concerns about your level of English.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

A notebook and pencil or iPhone may be useful to note the meeting point and time for the walk the following week.

What can I do when I finish the course?

You will feel more confident about returning to the area of London covered and explore it on your own of with friends or family members.

Additional information

Please let the tutor know during the first week whether you would find the second week’s walk difficult.
