Easy, buggy-friendly riverside walk that follows the path of the winding River Mole, after which Mole Valley is named. Designated a reserve for its richness and diversity of flora and fauna, the River Mole Local Nature Reserve is a pretty pocket of nature just steps away from the centre of Leatherhead town and its bustling High Street.
The route from Leatherhead Leisure Centre on the Western side of the river is the most accessible section. The path is most suitable for people using electric wheelchairs or scooters. There are however, many sections of the path which can be navigated with a manual wheelchair - either solo or with assistance. The route follows the River Mole which runs from its source near Gatwick to the Thames at Molesey.
