Public Path Diversion Order 2023

The above order, made on 11 July 2023 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 will, if confirmed, divert Footpath 91 (Thursley) running from OS Grid Reference 489705 138878 in a south easterly turning to easterly direction for 68 metres to a line running from the same point in a south easterly direction for 51 metres and from OS Grid Reference 489754 138815 in a southerly direction 28 metres to a line running from the same point in a south easterly direction for 30 metres as shown on the order map.

A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge by appointment (Telephone. 0300 200 1003) at Surrey County Council Offices, Whitebeam Lodge, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford (between 10.00am and 4.00pm from Monday to Friday) and at Waverley Borough Council Offices, The Burys, Godalming, GU7 1HR during normal office hours and at Godalming Library, Bridge Street, Godalming, GU7 1HR during opening hours. A copy of the Order and map may be purchased from the County Council at a cost of £4.00 per order.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Countryside Access quoting reference DW/AW/3/1/14 at Surrey County Council, Whitebeam Lodge, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ or by email to rightsofway@surreycc.gov.uk by 21 August 2023. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made, are withdrawn, Surrey County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations, which have not been withdrawn, will be sent with the Order.
