Notice of Modification Order

Surrey County Council Rights Of Way Definitive Map and Statement The Surrey County Council Public Footpath No.422 (Woking) Definitive Map Modification Order 2019

The above Order, made on 6 November 2019, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding a footpath from Pyrford Common, 37 metres north of Pyrford Common Road (Grid ref 503591 158930), in a generally north easterly direction for 535 metres to Upshot Lane by The Arbor Centre (Grid ref 503931 159230).

A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge at the Countryside Access Office, Surrey County Council, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ (by appointment Tel 0300 2001003), Woking Borough Council, Civic Offices, Gloucester Square, Woking GU21 6YL, and West Byfleet Library, The Corner, West Byfleet, KT14 6NY during opening hours. Copies of the Order and map may be bought from the County Council for £4.

Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Countryside Access team (quoting reference SM/DJ/CP577), at Surrey County Council, Merrow Depot, Merrow Lane, Guildford GU4 7BQ not later than 3 January 2020. Applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or to any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State (or part of it if the authority has by notice to the Secretary of State so elected under paragraph 5 of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981) may itself confirm the Order (or that part of the Order). If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in whole or in part, any representations and objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
