Application to deregister a building or curtilage of a building wrongly registered as common land
On 27 May 2026 the Planning & Regulatory Committee was presented with a report into the above application. The matter was discussed by Councillors, who then voted unanimously to agree with the recommendation to deregister land at Mousehill Water Treatment Works. Councillors agreed that there was sufficient evidence to conclude that the requirements of the legislation were met and that the land could be considered to have been covered by a building or within its curtilage at the point of registration as common, and at all points since then.
As such the Commons Map and Register have been amended to reflect the land
