Emergency Planning
The Emergency Management Team co-ordinates and manages the writing of emergency plans to mitigate the effects of a major emergency or disaster in or around the County. The plans are designed to minimise the disruption caused and help to restore essential services as quickly as possible.

Community Safety
The Community Safety Unit's main purpose is to improve co-operative work between partner agencies and to provide countywide leadership and guidance on new policy and projects relating to community safety and crime reduction.
