Library offer – £10 off your first course

Get Fit 50+ £20 off your first dance or exercise course

  2. Offer cannot be applied retrospectively for courses previously purchased and can only be applied to future course purchases.
  3. Usual refund and transfer policy applies.

  5. Offer only valid on courses of six sessions or more and can only be claimed once per Academic Year.
  6. The offer is only available to learners aged 50 or over on the start date of the course and if they have not already attended one of our dance or exercise courses during the current Academic Year.
  7. To claim this discount, learners will need to state they wish to claim the 'Get Fit 50+ discount' during the enrolment stage.

Welcome to learning – 50% off voucher

  1. To claim the 50% discount off the tuition fee of a course you need to enrol at the centre or over the phone (calling 0300 200 1044). We are sorry but this promotion cannot be redeemed online.
  2. Offer cannot be applied retrospectively for courses previously purchased and can only be applied to future course purchases.
  3. Usual refund and transfer policy applies.
  4. Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion.
  5. Offer can be claimed only once.
  6. The course needs to be booked within 6 months (183 days) of the issue date, as declared on the voucher.
  7. To claim this discount, learners will need to provide and state they wish to redeem their voucher during the enrolment stage.

Henrietta Parker Trust (HPT)

Courses - Cookery, Computing, iPad and Sewing

Selected courses labelled as 'HPT' in the course title are primarily funded by the Trust and as such are available at a subsidised fee to eligible learners as part of our Skills for Work programme.

  1. Learners can enrol for one course at each stage or level in each subject offered as part of HPT per Academic Year. Following this, Learners should progress onto our main Universal programme.
  2. Learners can only complete one course in each subject offered as part of HPT at a time.
  3. Learners will need to enrol at the centre or over the phone (calling 0300 200 1044). We are sorry but enrolment cannot be done online except during the autumn term.
  4. Learners will not receive a refund for withdrawing from a course under any circumstances, unless the entire course has been cancelled by Surrey Adult Learning. Additionally, learners will not be able to transfer their course fees to a different or future course.
  5. Learners will not receive any further discount or offer off the fee shown for the course.
  6. Learners can enrol on courses in all subjects offered as part of HPT as per the terms above.

Supported learning courses

Subsidised courses within the same subject areas in our Support Learning provision may also be considered and planned to run as an HPT course. Where this is the case, the same terms and conditions as above would apply.

Childcare costs

Financial support is available for childcare costs that are necessary to enable learners to attend our face-to-face Adult Skills courses.

  1. Learners will be reimbursed a maximum of £6.50 per hour for the duration of the session plus an additional 30 minutes per session.
  2. Learners must fully complete the Childcare Support Application Form, agreeing to and signing the declaration within.
  3. Learners must provide a valid receipt from their registered Ofsted childcare provider for each session being claimed.
  4. SAL staff will carry out spot checks with childcare providers as well as cross-referencing with the course attendance register prior to approving reimbursements.

Transport costs

Financial support is available for transport costs that are necessary to enable learners to attend our face-to-face HPT courses at our Molesey Centre.

  1. Learners will be reimbursed a maximum of £1.50 each way per session.
  2. Learners must fully complete the Transport Support Application Form, agreeing to and signing the declaration within.
  3. Learners must provide a valid receipt for each journey being claimed.
  4. SAL staff will carry out cross-referencing with the course attendance register prior to approving reimbursements.
