Sewing for Home - Bed canopy or bespoke Playhouse Workshop

Course intent

Learn to measure and make a beautiful, magical bed canopy fit for a princess or a ceiling hung playhouse for the child with an endless imagination to encourage good sleep and play behaviours.

What will I learn?

You will learn:

• How to measure and calculate fabric quantities.
• How to use basic machine sewing functions.
• How to hand sew decorative elements.
• Simple decorative techniques with waste fabric/ribbons.
• How to install.

  You need to bring:

• Floor to ceiling measurements.
• Ideas.
• Fabric samples.

What can I do when I finish the course?

Learners can join the follow-on Sewing for Home - All Abilities which starts on Wednesday 11th June and runs for 5 weeks
