Jewellery & Silverwork - Make an Enamelled Pendant Workshop

Course intent

After experimenting with different enamelling techniques on copper in the morning, you will incorporate these into a pendant in the afternoon. Make a beautiful piece that is individual either for yourself or as a gift

What will I learn?

You will learn:

• Enamelling techniques including:
• Cloisonné
• wire work
• Foil work
• Sifting
• Scrolling
• Wet laying
• How to design a pendant

  Who is this course for? Is there anything I need to know before joining?

  Beginners and those with some experience are welcome.

There is a stairway access to the Guildford jewellery room.

What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?

You need to bring:

• a plain notebook and pencil
• Wear closed toe shoes (no flip flops)
• Remove long scarves.
• Long hair to be tied back.
• Bring an apron or wear old clothes.

  What can I do when I finish the course?

  We offer jewellery and silverwork classes during the week including evening classes at both Guildford and Woking. Workshops provide a day of learning a technique and how to make a piece of jewellery in a day.
