Nutrition adult learning courses

About this subjectMaking smoothie

A healthy diet supports your immune system and reduces the risk of illnesses. It can give you more energy, improve how you sleep, and help you better manage a variety of other health issues.

We run a variety of nutrition workshops where you will learn how to manage diabetes, reduce stress and anxiety, focus on easing the menopause, or boosting your metabolism.

Delivered by experienced nutritionists, you will learn how to make simple and positive changes to your diet and will be given recipes to try at home.

Our workshops run throughout the academic year, during the week and on Saturdays.

Enrolments open each term in March, July and November. If courses have already started you may still be able to join so please contact us.

Course levels and information

We run workshops for all abilities. On each workshop we will look at making changes to your food choices, eating/diet plan, workout routine, and sleeping routine so that you can make the right nutritious choices to support you.

On our 'eat and cook' workshops, we will bring nutrition into the cookery room, combining theory and practice.

There will be lots of information, please bring a mobile device or pen/paper to take your notes. For practical workshops, please bring an apron, tea towels and a container to take your dishes home with you.
