About the Role
The Highways and Transport service is responsible for ensuring the effective management, maintenance and improvement of Surrey's highway network. Parking enforcement is critical to road safety, keeping traffic moving, and the operation of the local economy, by maintaining access to local businesses and services. As a Enforcement Liaisons Officer, you will respond to reported parking enforcement issues and understand how these can impact residents, businesses and road users. You will take a pro-active and flexible approach, working collaboratively with others to find practical solutions to problems.
Working in the Parking Enforcement Team and liaising with our Parking Enforcement Contractor, you will carry out a range of duties including dealing with enquiries and the general administration of parking enforcement on the Surrey road network. You will work closely with teams across the council to ensure we offer an efficient and joined up service. The role does not specifically involve dealing with Penalty Charge Notice processing, although experience in this area would be helpful.
