The Surrey Arts wardrobe has been a great facility for the community, however, changes we have seen over time have led to a reduction in use and income over the years. Despite making changes to the operating model and exploring different ways to deliver the service it has been concluded that the wardrobe is no longer financially sustainable. As a result, the decision has been made to close Surrey Arts Wardrobe and costumes are now no longer available to hire.
We are offering Surrey schools, charities and community groups the opportunity to come and view the collection, and take back pieces that may be helpful to support their projects and productions. (Please be aware that many of these items are historical pieces from the twentieth century, so may not meet the current Health and Safety fire regulations for materials).

Any remaining stock when the wardrobe closes will be given to charity or disposed of in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.
We would like to thank our customers for their support over the years.
