Financial support with your adult learning fees

Financial Support

Financial Support is available to help with tuition fees, transport, childcare and other courses costs for eligible learners. Financial support is available on a first-come first served basis for a maximum of one qualifying course per learner per term.

If financial difficulties prevent you from enrolling on a course with us, please talk to our Operations Team to see if we can help with financial support. For more information, to find out if you might be eligible and for the application form, contact our Learner Support Team on 0300 200 1044, or visit one of our centres.

Proof of income and receipt of state benefits will be required. We will review the information you give us and let you know if we are able to provide financial support.

Since the Financial Support Fund takes into account the 50% state benefits discount, successful applicants will only be able to receive one additional course per term using the state benefits discount.

All applications will be means tested against the criteria and a decision on entitlement will be made when we have received a fully completed application form and relevant supporting evidence.

Surrey Young People's Fund

For those up to the age of 25 financial support from the Community Foundation for Surrey may be available if you are enrolling on a course that will improve your employability skills.

If you require any further advice on our course fees or eligibility for discounts, the staff at our centres or Learner Support Team will always be happy to help.
