There are three ways to apply on this course. You can:

  • complete the form on our website;
  • call us on 0300 200 1044, 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday; or
  • visit one of our centres.

We'll evaluate your skills and provide a course offer, which you must accept to secure your place.

What will we cover?

• Create Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts and use the Pivot Table Slicer.

  • Naming Ranges.
  • Develop advanced skills with Formulas and Functions
  • Use =Lookup (using =VLookup and =HLookup).
  • Look at other useful Advanced Functions (including =Today and =Concatenate).
  • Import Files
  • Freeze Panes, Hiding/Un-hiding Rows/Columns and Workbooks
  • Link Data within and between Worksheets and Workbooks.
  • Protect and Unprotect Cells and Worksheets
  • Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values

If you use/have used a different spreadsheet programme, the skills learned here are easily transferrable.

For courses of more than one session, you will find you make the most progress if you attend every taught lesson and complete any self-directed study opportunities provided.
